I use KPL oil products and their Knife Shield to clean and protect the blade. The knife is not used, carried or sharpened but may be stropped. I use Lacey’s Diamond Stropping Emulsion 12, 9, 7.5, 5, 3 and 1 to provide the best factory edge. The knife is centered with a solid lockup.
