Description: This has to be one of THE rarest kits--Ive only seen 2 others on Ebay in >20 years [neither complete]: Aurora's 1955 Gift Set: 3 Giant Bombers [B-25, B-26D, B-29]. The B-25 is missing!! There is a 1955 B-25 listed from the UK for $130 [9/9/24] B-26D: kit is complete. One of the 2 part main landing gear assemblies is complete; the props and main landing gear have been painted--I am working on removing the paint. B-29: Airplane is complete. The base is missing [the arm is there]. I know I have some used large rectangular bases..and may have an unused one. ASSUME there will not be a base!! Each kit has the original instructions and the Tatem decals. There is a dried out tube of Aurora cement--and...dont get too excited: 2 pieces of 1955 TISSUE PAPER!!! Each face of the box cover is shown. There is some "bubbling" on the face. The lower ~1/2" of part of the bottom of the box face is a bit concave--I tried to get a photo but with the lighting you really couldnt see anything. There is also a "nick" near the B-25 [2nd photo]. this can be "somewhat" repaired--but i aint gonna do it!!! All in all..one of Auroras rarest kits--especially since it really ddint do gift sets--i think the Naval ?task force may be the only other [i believe someone has that listed!!!].
