Description: Vintage Hand Forged Cast Iron Ladle with large oval bowl. It measures 14" long, weighs 8 Oz, and has a stubby 1 1/4" wooden handle. The bowl and socket handle were forged from a single piece of iron, too cool! The bowl is slightly oval, and measures 4 1/4" x 3 3/4". Could be a smelting ladle I suppose, but there are no pour spouts. Most likely an early hand made soup ladle.
