Hazel May Hussong is not a household name and while I find little concerning her online Dr. Hussong remains remembered to this day for establishing the Hazel May Hussong Fund in 1974, which the University of Pennsylvania's website states "helps ensure that the Penn Library will be financially sound for generations to come." I mention under condition the blind stamp of the previous owner on the title page which is quite interesting as well considering it is that of Dr. Edward A Singer Jr., Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. This is the same Dr Singer Jr. mentioned in her acknowledgment (see cropped page pictured): "The writer wishes to record her indebtedness to Dr. Edgar A. Singer, Jr., at whose suggestion this study was undertaken, under whose direction it was continued, and without whose help it would not have been completed." CONDITION: Used.
