Description: Offered for your consideration is this rare art deco 1930's Atkinsons powder compact which measures approx. 5 cm in diameter and is made of polished chrome metal with the company's name engraved in script on the base and surrounded by a wavy zig-zag pattern. The picture lid features a lovely flapper lady's head and the lid is decorated in contrasting colours of cream, red, black and silver.This compact has strong hinge and firm catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed mirror under the lid. The open powder well in the base has a full godet of pink pressed powder and the original unused Atkinsons marked puff.This art deco powder compact is offered in very good condition. The case has no dents or dings and the chrome metal is shiny and clean and free of tarnish. The lovely lid has no damage at all and this 1930's powder compact is unused. Thank you for your interest.
