Description: This great early 1900's ceiling light is fresh from a local estate. The electrical socket has been replaced and works great. Now it is ready for a new home! This fixture has an unusual design-- while most lights of this type have a porcelain ceiling canopy/base which holds a separate glass shade, on this fixture everything you see except the metal hardware is made of a single piece of glass. As you can see, this item is in good shape for its age, with some light overall wear but no cracks, chips, etc. There is some staining and spots of mild surface corrosion on the metal of the fixture, but it is covered by the shade. Measures about 8" wide and hangs about 10" from the ceiling when installed. It takes a single standard household medium E26 base bulb (not included). Please see all photos. Shipped with great care.
