Description: This auction is for an 1831 Silver Bust Half Dollar from the United States slabbed and graded EF 45 Details (Countermark, Residue) by ICG. The slab is a little shopworn but the coin looks great. Counterstamped "J. Gibbs. 1897" on the front. Because of the stampings the other side of the coin is flat in those areas. Also has areas of staining and residue on the front as well as toning on both sides. We've never seen this countermark before. Should be a great value at our low opening bid that includes postage. Please see the photos to judge the condition of the item. FREE SHIPPING, INSURANCE & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION! I will accept payment from U.S. bidders only. Please send payment within 7 days of the auction ending. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item to me (if multiple items are in an auction, the entire group must be returned) within 30 days for a full refund (buyer will be responsible for the return postage). As I send all items insured with delivery confirmation, I ask that any returns be insured with delivery confirmation as well. Items must be sent back to me in their original un-tampered with holders or the return privilege is voided. Thank you and good luck.
