Description: Listed here is an U S Air Force 81st Tactical Fighter Wing Insignia Badge Crest Emblem Patch which is Full Color and Large. This patch is old new stock and was never issued or used and is in outstanding condition for its age. The 81st Tactical Fighter Wing was first designated in 1958 and was in operation under this designation until 1993 when the unit was redesignated as the 81st Training Wing that same year which makes this patch obsolete. The patch's era of manufacture is likely to date anytime from 1958 to 1980 by look of this patch. This patch would make a great addition to any militaria collector especially now that the unit goes under another designation.
