Description: This listing if for a unique opportunity to own a vintage 1960's, US Army / Air Force, AS-341/GR, field assembled, horizontal dipole antenna. This would make a super field day antenna or even used as your everyday HF dipole antenna. I have a limited number of pages from the TM 11-2680 Technical Manual for this antenna but in general it was meant for 1.5 to 20 Mhz ground operations and looks from some of the diagrams to be able to be deployed by a 2 man team. What I have comes in the US Bag BG-102-A field radio bag. I do not have the two sectional mast assemblies (AB-86/GRA-4 or nylon guy ropes) that would support the masts. The sectional poles are readily available today for the military purest or simply support it from a tree, your house, etc. These components have been in storage for around 60 years and here is what is included:One (1) Canvas and leather bag BG-102-A in very nice condition. Eight (8) Stake Guy 7-1/4" aluminum anchor stakes which look unused. One (1) UG-1024/U coax to dipole wire connector which looks unused. Two (2) Cable Assembly CG-784 C/U. One just removed from the sealed bag to verify contentsThree (3) Cable Assembly CG-789D/U. Two sealed in the original bags and one opened. Three (3) Reel Antenna, RL-122/GRA-4 which are all unused. There is a TM 11-2680 for sale on eBay at this time. Some of the photos I am posting came from that listing as my pages do not show those details about the antenna. .But included is 12 original pages from the TM manual. Check out the photos as this is what you will be receiving. Buyer pays USPS shipping and handling for 23 lbs. This stuff is built tough and stout / heavy.
