Description: Here is a 1950s or 1960s M1 US Army steel pot helmet with liner. The exterior is painted fire engine red with a stenciled "P" probably for POLICE and was used by Fire Police. 1/2 of the chinstrap is missing. Steel pot and liner good. Condition as shown in pictures.
