US Early Vietnam Advisor 2nd Pattern C.I.C. Jungle Tropical Boots Sz 9R 8 /64

Description: All Original Pair of USGI Early Advisor Viet Nam era 2nd Pattern US Tropical Jungle Boots with Vibram soles. These boots are in Great Serviceable condition. Boots were manufactured by C.I.C. Corporation in Size 9 Regular. Boots incorporate Rubber VIBRAM soles with NO spike protective features. These were issued before the flat steel plate was inserted in the soles to combat punji sticks.Very early August 1964 (8 64) date is visible at top of boots. (see photo) . Features rear stitch seam which is visible. NO INSERTS. See Photo of inside boots. Also, small Field darning on inside panel of right boot (See Photo) Flat Cotton Laces are included. These are highly collectible in this early year and condition and very desirable for any Viet Nam Uniform historical collection. Great pair for re-enactors too.
