Description: Pretty cool coat here for anyone who appreciates a well worn peice that shows service (as I do). USAF 111th Fighter Wing Cold Weather DCU Coat belonging to a Senior Airman. Has 111th Fighter Wing patch and Air Combat Command Patch. Both subdued desert versions for wear in the field. The 111th were one of the first wings to volunteer to go to Afghanistan after 9/11. They supported both the opening of the War in Afghanistan and the Invasion of Iraq voluntarily. I attached some quick history from online. The Coat is pretty dirty. Not something that will flake off or anything that you have to worry about just some dark staining likely from grease and mechanical parts. Probably a mechanic or munitions guy supporting the aircraft that were essential in the early days of both wars. Dates from 1995-2006ish era as the unit was renamed 111th Fighter Wing in 1995 and the three color desert DCU pattern fell out of use around the mid 2000s. A nice piece with some history for sure. Thanks for looking
