The weight of these irons will definitely keep the leathers hanging straight down. Great to break in a baby and to get them used to banging on the saddle, or as a backup set for a second saddle, lesson horses, etc. Condition: Decent used condition with some scuffs and marks from use. Original rubber pads have yellowed but are not cracked or damaged. Stirrup irons are functionally sound. Comments:I am the original purchaser, and guess that these are approximately 10 years old and were most likely purchased from Jeffers Equine or a similar large equestrian catalogue. These will easily last another 10 years or more. No rust or corrosion that I can see. Measurements:As shown in photos -- approximately 4.5" wide from inside edge to inside edge, where your foot goes, to accomodate a foot that is 4.5" maximum width. Total height is just about 6" from base to hole where stirrup leather wraps.
