The lining appears to be a rayon, due to its sheen and softness. Military Issue All-Weather Trench Coat. 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton. Coat is double breasted with belt, and zip out lining. Two outside pockets and two inside pockets. There is a plastic belt buckle. Originally issued for wear with the dress uniform. SEE THE SHOULDER MEASUREMENT AS A SIZE GUIDE - NOT THE CHEST MEASUREMENT - as the coat is full coat Measurements Chest Armpit to armpit 46" Shoulder 20" across base of neck Sleeve 36" center of base of neck to end of sleeve Length 45.5" center of base of neck to hem The shoulder is measured from the top of the sleeve seam across the neck. The overall length is taken from the neck seam to the hem. The top length (rise) - if included - is from the neck seam to the center of the belt - it may be off a small amount.We sold these in our store years ago.
