USS Mississippi: this Pre-First WW era 382' Mississippi Class battleship had a short USN service history. She was built in Philadelphia between 1904 and 1908 and commissioned Feb 1, 1908. She served in the US Navy until sold to the Greek Navy in 1914 and re-named Kilkis. She was decommissioned in 1932 and sunk on April 23, 1941 by German dive-bomber aircraft at Salamis. Also see cover for her sister ship USS Idaho BB-24. Check out my other items! These items make fine gifts when mounted on a colored matte and placed in a 5x7 picture frame. Free US Shipping!
