Description: supplied with f to f lead The Satlink ws 6933 is A digital satellite Finder specially designed for VAST and fox satellite TV. (PRE PROGRAMED) Being MPEG 4 the unit has been pre-programmed with the VAST para Finders pre-set making the Finder very easy to use. if the other Finders you find just say digital they are not MPEG4 so they will not last.simply plug the unit in to the dish and use the signal level bars to align your dish.it isvery easyMake sure you have clean line of sight north at about 45 degreases to start.Plug meter in with an appropriate f to f lead (screw on)Finger tight the connections With the lnb if you are looking at the front of the dish the f connections should be @7 o'clock turn the tester onpress the ok button 3 times and there will be an affirming beeeep! for conformation. before proceedingthe signal bar (signal will hover from go at @70%) that's good the lnb is working.now move the dish slooooooowly up and down side to side from around the 35 deg markwhen you are close to the satellite the meter will start beeping, when your smack on it will be a constant tone the quality will start increase.once locked on start to tighten bolts as you tighten watch the meter incase you go off signal.two bars on the meter you are off!plug box in and away you go.channel 800 on the decoder is the test and set up channel if you have this your job is done Unlike many other lower priced Finders on the market with this Finder you can actually receive VAST transponders. Many other mid lower cost Finders you are actually just receive the signal from the MPEG2 format and this could end anytime rendering your Finder useless. Special Note: All VAST services are MPEG4, there are no VAST MPEG2 services. If you have Foxtel and think this Finder sounds perfect for you well it is, you can simply align your dish on the VAST settings or simply select TP 3 in the sat setting menu and the unit will receive the actual Foxtel signal.
