Description: Verlinden Productions 120mm (1/16 scale) US Special Forces Jungle Reconnaissance Soldier with M79 Grenade Launcher and Shotgun in Vietnam War 2771 Brand new! This is a resin figure kit from Verlinden Productions. This is a re-release of VP0523 US Special Forces Vietnam kit. Kit consists of unassembled and unpainted resin parts, parts are shown in ninth and later pictures. Built and painted one's picture is for reference only and put for you to enjoy fine detailing of Mr.Francois Verlinden. These are NOS Verlinden kits, although kits are new, their boxes may not always be in perfect condition. The resin figure is comprised of 23 parts of cream resin the make-up not just the recon soldier but also his array of equipment and weapons. The head wears a bandanna to combat the hot and humid climes of the jungle. His angular jaw is dropped in a way that he is talking to add more drama. The torso of this soldier wears combat trousers and a full length shirt with a mesh backed vest that holds all of is ammo for his M79 Grenade Launcher 'Thumper' in open position while the recon soldier is loading it. The well cast jungle jump boots are finely replicated, you can even see the laces on the boots and subtle folds in the leather. There is also included a large machete to clear through the jungle, a smoke and two frag grenades, a pistol in it's holster and two water bottles with covers and a single barrel 12 gauge sawn-off shotgun for close combat. The water bottles and other parts hanging off the belt all have a recess to slip into as well.Important! This item is unassembled and unpainted.
