Vertex builds a variety of pedals. Mainly in the overdrive/distortion arena. I've owned many Vertex pedals and still own a few. IMO their pedals are well built tone machines. Like I said this pedal does fall in the TS screamer category of overdrives, but it ain't green. That's because the Tone Secret can sound green, but it has so many upgrades that will take you out of that midrange heavy zone. Very stackable with other pedals. Without going more into detail, please go the last paragraph for a more detailed description. I bought this from a music store that went out of business. Actually, I was able to get two of them. Both were new when I purchased them and had neither been played. I have played this pedal twice. Last time, inside my home studio, prior to listing it. Plays and sounds great. Comes with the original box and manual. The manual shows you a couple sample settings to get you started (see pic #2). Lots of info online and some good you tube videos.
