Description: Rare Very Detailed Ancient Byzantine Large Bronze Double Cross 900-1000 A.D. I purchased this cross at an estate sale about 30 years ago. This cross was in a wood box with a piece of paper that said 900-1000A.D. This Cross is very gold in color so it may contain more gold in the casting than most other Byzantine crosses. I have not had the gold content checked. The cross measures 2.90 x1.18 inches, 74 x 30mm, measured with calipers. The cross weighs 1.09 ounce or 31 grams. From a Smoke Free pet Free Home.
