Description: Very Fine Lg Antique Capodimonte Italy Porcelain Cov Jewelry Box 7 7/8" Square Here is a very beautiful antique Capodimonte porcelain large covered hinged jewelry box. It measures about 7 7/8" square and about 4 1/8" tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Gold trim is in excellent condition overall with just some small spots of wear along the lower edge. There is one small minimally bumpy spot in gold on one lower corner. There are various surface marks and darkening to unglazed underside of box from tabletop contact. There are some minor scattered small spots of greenish oxidation on bronze mounts. There is some expected darkening of bronze appropriate to age. There are a few small light brownish spots on interior. There are some scattered tiny dark specks on the interior. Marked with "N Crown" mark on underside. The box is lavishly hand-decorated. A really fine example. Please see photos.
