Description: Up for sale is a fantastic, Oil on canvas board by Vivian Milner Akers titled "RIVER LANDSCAPE". It is signed on the lower right corner. Vivian Milner Akers (1886-1966) was born in Norway, Maine. This piece is an impressionistic landscape depicting a river in the foreground with pine trees on the right and left of the waters edge. Beyond the river there are mountains and a town. It is professionally framed in gold painted wooden frame that measures approximately 15" x 12". There are some nicks, scratches and dings on the frame. The piece itself is approximately 11" x 8". It has not been examined outside of the frame. Overall, it is in Very Good Condition. There are no visible issues. It is an excellent investment and a superb example of this great artist's work - a perfect piece for any collector! Other dings here and there.
