Description: This is a rare 1868 reproduction by Sanford & Hayward (Cleveland, Ohio) of Thomas Whelpley's 1833 lithograph of this title. "Entered according to the act of Congress A.D. 1834 by Thos. Whelpley in the clerk's office of the district Court of the Southern district of New York." Contains 2 unidentified cameos of two gentlemen, merely dated "1834" and "1868"respectively. These cameos and the citation to Sanford & Hayward were not part of the original 1834 litho. This item has some issues, as you can see from the pictures. Please look carefully at all of them as there are some tears and some small marks on the lithograph. The print itself is still a nice display piece and this can either be restored or displayed as-is (if there was a white background behind the print when it is in the frame, it would much more difficult to see the hole in it). This is in a newer frame right now just protecting the print from any more damage. I will include the original basic frame when shipped... the original frame does not have the protective glass. The back has writing on it in pencil, that states "This picture given to me by my niece Virginia A Chester
