Description: This Authentic and Very Rare Independent Order of Odd Fellows Patriarch Militant First Regt. (Regiment) Mass Pilgrimage To National Cantonment in Buffalo, NY on August 4-9, 1896 Ribbon Pin with Two Beautifully Embossed Enamel Medallions is in Incredible Condition for its age, in my opinion. It measures 8 1/4" long by 2 7/8" wide. The colors are bright and vibrant; the enamel is smooth and unblemished with no blistering; the delicate Two-Tiered ribbon material and edge-stitching have been preserved to keep their original luster and beauty. The manufacturer's label is intact on the back side of the ribbon. You will be hard pressed to locate a finer example anywhere, given that it is over 128 Years Old! I have owned it since 1996 and have kept it in a sealed, air-tight container in a dark closet in my home ever since. I have taken it out today to take photos for this listing.
