Description: Absolutely one of the rarest versions of the bubble bank, this Uncle Sam “You Can Bank on Uncle Sam” bank is in very high grade condition. May be the nicest one in existence. Made of hand blown glass & wood, this bank was patented in 1941 and has a patriotic subject for WWII. This is an early version, as to remove the glass globe, you have to remove 2 dowel pins (later versions were attached with 3 screws). Please study the pictures, as they are an important part of the description. ***All the dots you see on the glass are dust particles on the inside of the globe picked up by my flash.
