Description: Up for auction is a VERY RARE ANTIQUE O C WHITE INDUSTRIAL EDISON LIGHT SOCKET WITH A MICA INSULATOR. It is about 2 5/8 inches long. It has the larger 3/8 opening that O C White lights need. The side is stamped " EDISON PATENDS 200 V 50 C. P. " C. P. stands for CANDLE POWER. This socket was made by the Thomas Edison Company in the early 1900's. It has not been tested but has a nice clicking sound when you turn the key. Please email me with any questions.
