Description: Here we have a very rare spirit flask modeled after a powder flask that would have been used during the 1700s or early 1800s. This spirit flask dates to the early 1800s and has finely detailed and molded hunting dogs on both front and back. One of the dogs has a game bird it is retrieving for its owner. The flask has Rockingham glaze applied to it which accents the raised relief detail. Measuring 7 1/8” in height, the flask is narrow so it would comfortably fit in one’s pocket. This is in as near mint condition as you’ll ever find with only a 1/16” glaze flake at the rim and with no other damage or repairs. This flask is extremely rare and the only one like it I’ve ever seen. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
