Description: I am selling the Very Rare Sterling Silver and Enamel Thorner House Ski Pin.It measures 1" in diameter.It is marked "sterling" on the back, for sterling silver.It is marked "Thorner House" and has an image of a person skiing in enamel.Thorner house was one of the first trailside inns, as well as a ski school, which opened and operated in 1940's. It was run by Hans Thorner from Switzerland who was one of the first certified ski instructors in America. Hans Thorner would later open and operate several other ski schools in New England, as well as Magic Mountain in Vermont.The pin is vintage, but in pretty good shape with light wear to the enamel, as shown.I am always willing to combine shipping to save you money.
