Description: The Beatles Rubber Soul Rarer TRANSITIONAL Press VG+ WITHDRAWN *LOUD CUT* This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap! This is the rarer recording as these records were pulled from the shelf almost immediately after being dispatched...they were then taken and destroyed, replacing them with the 2nd pressing. Vinyl: VG++. (SOUNDS EXCELLENT) Lovely shine and weight. There are just a few light and insignificant marks. After cleaning her on a vacuum cleaner, followed by an ultrasonic bath and then a further vacuum clean, I have just played the Lp through and noticed the LOUD CUT affect is clearly audible and sounds really RAW.. There is only a very small amount of occasional background noise, audible (but not offensively so) on Michelle-I am being ULTRA CRITICAL as I found this little bit of light background crackle quite warming and reasuring this is an ORIGINAL SLAB OF VINYL from 1965 and not a digital file! NO SKIPS/JUMPS Flat as the day she was born. Shiny as the day she was born too. Quality heavy-weight best of British vinyl! Labels: EX. There are light spindle marks, but only really noticed when angled to the light, barely any wear to the central hole either! Raised "KT" tax code to side 1. No writing anywhere. "The Gramophone Co..." rim text as well as "Sold In U.K." text. Please see the detailed images. Cover: EX- PATENTS PENDING Garrod & Lofthouse No splits or tears anywhere! A few half crescent spidering areas to the gloriously glossy cover as well as a few 'fingers' from the edges. Excellent, uncrushed spine. Light rubbing to the corners. The back is GORGEOUS, barely any discoloration of note, it does carry a couple of names (including John Lennons). Very strong Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks. (again, please see the images) Inner: EX+. ORIGINAL 'Use Emitex' inner. NO SPLITS NO WRITING *SUPERB ALL ORIGINAL INNER* Only light creasing and ever so slight discoulouration due to age. All in all THIS IS A COLLECTORS PIECE.
