Description: This bronze sculpture by well known Mexican artist Victor Salmones shows a woman looking down to kiss her lover/boyfriend/husband. By itself, the bronze is 11.5" tall, and about 8x8" or 8x9" depending on where you measure. It is attached to a smoked acrylic base that's just under 12" x 10" x .75". All together, the sculpture weighs 20 lbs. 12.5 oz. The back of the sculpture is signed V. Salmones and numbered 05/10. To the left of the signature is another stamp that is "T.2 88". The acrylic base has a brass plate on it that includes the artist's name spelled wrong. I'm guessing this was a custom addition by a past owner. The sculpture is in great condition, and the acrylic base has a lot of scratches underneath. There are some spots that kind of look like damage, but after looking closely, I'm pretty sure they're a result of the casting or just the style of the sculpture.
