The compote was made by Bakewell, Pears and Co circa 1850's - 1860's and measures 8 inches in diameter, 2 7/8 inches in height and 4 in base diameter. It is clear and bright and rings well. It weighs one pound and fifteen ounces. The item is in excellent shape and has no damage.
