Featuring a lovely hand colored engraving of 5 women and 1 child in beautiful Victorian dresses with the title "BALL DRESSES" There is small print that reads "Capewell and Kimmel" which was an American Engraving Firm based in New York in the mid 19th Century. They created original Engravings for publications such as Godey's Lady's Book and Frank Leslie's Ladies' Gazette. The engraving is in a 1890s-1920s period frame with the makers seal on the back.
