Description: This beautiful brooch necklace is silver gilt, set with many brilliant rose cut garnets. We have taken the Victorian garnet brooch and had it professionally converted to a necklace. The necklace measures 20" in length and the center converted brooch measures 1 3/4" X 1 3/4" with a 1/2" drop/pendant. The brooch has a hole at the bottom that the drop/pendant can be attached or removed by its bale. The necklace can be worn alone as shown or the bottom drop/pendant can be hung from a chain to make another beautiful piece. Truly a rare find because often the pieces got separated.
