Description: A piece from another era - made with the now near extinct and impossibly expensive/rare Brazilian rosewood and lined in mahogany (possibly Honduran which is also very rare) it also has mother of pearl inlays at the top (not engraved) and on the lock front. Internal lining is velvet and appears the be the original lining from the manufacturer. The piece has wear and there are some cracks in the wood which is unfortunate but consistent with age as this piece is at least 100 years old. A lot of life still left on it and will look stunning on any interior for decor or practical use. Some restoration on the internal compartments might be needed.
