A rarely found pictorial scene from the children's pastimes series made by the top manufacturer Maw & Co. Brown print on a cream background. A beautiful scene of children ice-skating lots of fine detail from there lovely hats to there ice skates. Designed by Owen Gibbons who designed many Pictorial tiles for Maw & Co. I HAVE ANOTHER FOUR LISTED IN SIMILAR CONDITION. It's in excellent condition with a couple of minute nibbles on the outside edge and a pimple on the top glaze which would of occurred in the manufacturing process. Some light crazing in the glaze which often occurs on tiles of this age. Finished with a nice translucant glaze. Please check the photos as this helps with the description.
