Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. The wire wrapped Christmas tree ornaments are from the Victorian time period. This antique Christmas tree ornament is in the shape of a boat. There is an oval with pushed down center red/pink glass ornament in the center that is not silvered. It has a metal garland wrapped around the top edge. There is a heavier metal garland that goes up from the short sides in a loop so it can hang. It does have some wire wrapping that is somewhat intact. In the pushed down center of the glass ornament are two clay beads that are red. This boat ornament is 5" tall x 3-1/4" wide x 2-3/8" deep. It is from the 1910s. The tree is not included. It is for display only. This ornament was used. Some of the wire wrapping is worn. There is wear to the glass finish. One pike is intact, the other has been broken. The clay beads have a couple of cracks in the red finish. The last two pictures show the same spot from different angles. Please see the pictures. They help with the description.
