Description: Featured Today is One, Very Gently Used, Men's Victorinox SWISS ARMY Classic Last Generation Old School Style Chronograph Wristwatch with Gorgeous Black Dial Protected by Scratch Proof Sapphire Crystal. Mounted on OEM SS Bracelet w/Deployment Clasp. From the Ever Popular & Discontinued Officer's 1884 Classic Collection. This classic beauty was the last generation of this popular old school style and is a mere 18-19 years young yet has only seen a relatively limited amount of actual wrist time during this period thus remains in an overall very good shape for it's age. Trace scattered scuffing to bezel and case. Dial is crisp & clear with silver toned numerals (some pic's may have reflections of my black camera in background making the numerals appear as black. THEY ARE SILVER). Caseback shows a few tool marks, light surface scratches and fine scuffing, mostly from contact with the underside of bracelet and will never be seen when worn. Sapphire glass appears mark free. OEM bracelet looks remarkable with limited observed wear marks and should serve as a testament to the overall direct usage (or lack thereof) to the watch. That's it. A rare find for one in any shape. Since this was the most recent release of the Officers 1884, some add'l upgrades included a slightly larger case of 42mm up from 40mm. Slightly larger crown for greater ease of use. Wider lug width of 20mm up from 19mm. Solid bracelet end pieces instead of the older, hollowed out ones. And, of course, a scratch proof sapphire crystal. Swiss Army makes some of the best sapphire crystals I've seen. This is definitely one for the serious collection and/or the person who really appreciates a true classic that will never go out of style. This is one of the last & best old school styles from the Officer's 1884 line and will no longer be produced, so.... GET YOURS NOW!! This would make the ideal watch for work, play, adventure or just add to your collection to proudly display. Recently fitted with a fresh Energizer battery and keeping proper time. Some specifics: Watch measures just over 1 5/8" or 42mm across case excluding crown, crown guards and lugs. Apx 45mm w/crown. Width between the lugs is 20mm. Bracelet includes all but one of the original compliment of factory issued links (12 links total) and should easily accommodate an apx 7 3/4" wrist circumference (or smaller). NO add'l links are included so please bear this in mind prior to placing a bid/offer. Individual links can easily be removed for any required downsizing.
