Description: Vietnam M1 Helmet With 1969-70 ERDL cover Great example of Vietnam War M1 helmet with later ERDL COVER. The cover has the faint lettering showing what appears to have a DSA 1969 date WITH A 70F? at the end. There are wear holes with rust, tears and repairs to the cover. The shell has good use with some dents but overall great display. The chin strap hooks look like they have some of the OD green paint seen on earlier production shells. Liner is in great shape complete with sweatband. There is a number painted on strap from when it might have been used during service, but I don’t have any more information on it. Please look at pics carefully and ask any questions before bidding. Helmet only, stand not included.
