VIintage extraordinary french jet black glass filigree brass pin brooch

Description: This is an extraordinary vintage French Jet black glass pin or brooch. There is a large faceted stone in the center set in an outstanding paw prong setting. There are 4 faceted prong set black glass stones flanking the center jewel. All of these are set on an incredible open cut work filigree brass mounting. Highlighting the piece is the faceted briolette drop with the dramatic chain treatment.The chain is a different color as the filigree brass in the pin, but can be removed if you don't like it.This has a safety catch bar-pin on the back.From top to bottom this measures 3 ½ inches and is 1 7/8 inches wide. #10383-2BFor easier searching, please click on the ebay store icon, which looks like a little blue door.If you would like to follow the store or see our collections, please click the link that is titled -- follow this seller --which is shown under the seller information box on the right side of the page. In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect. We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
