This is a highly detailed pitcher in what is like parian ware with baluster reliefs. This style is in Art Nouveau or Gothic Revival. The detailed images are all different and reminiscent of Wedgwood. Extremely decorative! Richly decorated in relief in the Gothic Revival style, the upper section with panels of German text over a central band decorated in relief with a procession of various dancing and drinking figures on a blue ground, green Mercury Villeroy & Boch Mettlach mark to the underside. Of shouldered baluster form, long flared neck with spout and "C" scroll handle, raised on a circular foot; decorated in relief with harvest scenes and German motto on the neck.
