Description: The following auction is for a vintage sledge hammer. It is used. It is really dirty and needs cleaned up. It has scratches, scuffs, wear and tear. There are scratches in the head and dings in the head. It was used at one point in its lifetime. I do not see a manufacturer name on the head. It has some rust on it, but it mostly seems like surface rust. The total weight (including the small handle) weighs 12.6 pounds. The handle measures about 15 inches from where it comes out of the head to the tip of the handle (overall) The handle is tight but has some chips and scratches in it. The head is pretty tight on the handle and seems ok. I am not sure I would trust it for beating on metal for hours, but it seems fairly tight. You get the exact lot pictured. LOT 7207
