Description: Vintage c 1050's American Character hard plastic doll, looks like Sweet Sue. Marked A C on back of head. Sleep eyes are sluggish, closed mouth and synthetic wig. Redressed, but shoes and socks may be original. One shoe has had the cardboard sole replaced. Wig mashed in back. Stringing good. Has a faint hard plastic shell, but has been boxed in bubble wrap for six years. From the estate and personal collection of Dian Zillner, author of numerous books on Dolls, Doll accessories, and Doll Houses. Many of the listed items have been used as illustrations in her books.
