This was purchased in an estate parcel with the matching band in just a slightly smaller size, and they are both inscribed...this one is "FAS to JML 10/3/70" and the other one (listed separately, size 8) is with the initials vice versa, same date. Probably used as wedding bands. This is a super nice band with good heavy gold weight at 7.8 grams. They don't make bands this heavy any more with the price of gold. I have definitely seen this maker's mark on other nice vintage rings but can't remember who it is. The band measures 8mm and weighs 7.8 mm grams. It is a size 8.5 and could use a polishing but is definitely in good vintage condition with a lot of life left!
