Description: Ai Aside; fantastic vintage piece with a very rare Allan Adler Band. Adler was a famous California Jewelry designer and maker and made many custom pieces for Hollywood Royalty. This band was specifically designed for Frank Sinatra. Apparently he didn't like metal bands as they were uncomfortable and heavy or leather because they sweat so Adler came up with ebony wood and 10K with an early deployment clasp. He patented it in fact and the piece is marked with the patent number and 10K. The Watch has a new crystal and is in fine running and keeping time +/- 10 seconds a day tested be Swiss watch. When he replaced the acrylic crystal he forgot to take pictures of the works and case marks so my apologies for not including them'100% honest and original piece marks and with original crown and face (it has some typical discoloration..) Great fancy lugs and my battery caliper tool is on the fritz but a standard size.The band closes beautifully. and the Ebony wood inserts are original.The 14K solid gold case his personalized. Great Mid Century piece with no issues whatsoever and great looking sure to turn heads piece.Quite a stunner.Will fit up to a 7.75 inch wrist but perhaps a jeweler could modify it a tad.
