Description: Vintage Tapa Bark ClothThis cloth is just a beautiful example of Tongan island art from the early 1900s. This is hand painted and is in good condition. It shows some wear reflecting the age of the piece. It has never been folded, only rolled. I have an old photo of my father sitting in front of this ceremonial cloth when he was a very young boy, and he is 96 years old now. It is a beautiful and meaningful piece of art!The piece is roughly 5 feet long and 4 feet wide.
