Description: This purse is 11 1/2" tall including the fringe and 7 1/4" wide. It has black beads with 2 blue and gray butterflies and a triangle of gray with blue and brown decoration in the middle. It has black beaded 1 2/4" fringe on the bottom. Some lines are missing, and the thread is hanging. The top is Bakelite. The top clasp is Bakelite and has carved leaves on it. The leaf in the middle in the front clamps down over the top. The inside is in good shape for its age. The purse has been sewn onto the Bakelite top by hand. The purse has a brown chain made of Bakelite. On one side where the Bakelite top is hinged, the hinge is off bit it is inside the purse. See the last picture showing the hinge is off. This purse is very old - from the 1920s.
