Description: Vintage 1923 To 1925 -- 12 OZ -- Thatcher Manufacturing Glass Company-- EMB Milk. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This bottle is in excellent shape for its age with clear glass and only a few scratches. It is made from heavy thick glass. This is a very unique embossed milk bottle -- it is a " TWELVE OUNCE LIQUID " . Most milk bottle sizes are 8 Oz, 16 Oz, or 32 Oz. Also there is no "embossed " lettering on the front slug plate -- where a dairies name would be. The other unique thing is -- that it is embossed with 2 different Thatcher Manufacturing Glass Company-- Markers marks -- "mTc" (used from 1923 to 1950s) & "T MFG CO" ( used from 1900 to 1925) -- which makes dating this bottle very difficult. Also the embossing of " 1 MINN inside of a triangle" & " SEALED 1-11-14" -- also are Thatcher marks. See photos above for more details on makers marks. Embossed on the heel " WASH AND RETURN " Embossed on the bottom " T MFG Co. -- 7 -- ?? ( a pair.of numbers that i can't make out -- because of the Owens Machine Scar. All embossing is strong and clear. 6 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" diameter at the base Great addition for any 1920s Milk bottle collector or for any Thatcher Manufacturing Glass Company Collection.
