Description: Vintage 1930’s 40’s New Guinea Dani Tribe Money Belt. Constructed of naturally woven fiber belt with Cowrie shells, seeds and small pieces of fur attached. Measures aprox. 90” long and 1 1/2” wide, has some seed loss and age but in general very good condition. Came from the collection/estate of a WWII veteran and was collected during that period. Very nice example.
