Description: Vintage1935 Art Deco Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal Persian Rose Art Pottery Jug Vase Charlotte Rhead (1885 - 1947) was one of England's most prolific designers during the Art Deco period of Art Pottery. This is an Art Deco Charlotte Rhead for Crown Ducal art pottery handled jug vase in the Persian Rose pattern # 4040. Measuring 10 1/4" high x 8 1/4" wide to the end of handle. This is an original early yellow trim version of Persian Rose produced in 1935. Tube lined with stylized roses and leaves in vibrant pink, blue, and green. Signed on the underside C. Rhead in gray and the printed Crown Ducal Made in England. Condition is very, very good. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is crazing throughout. Enlarge photos to see details.
