Description: On November 21, 1940, The Chicago Opera Company, theater production ---Salome was on stage. These are the Original Program Books. The large one has the art illustration by Elmer Jacobs, and it is 9" x 12" and has some unique, vintage ads---see pictures. The little program is in both English and what might be Italian or French (I can't tell). Inside they are both in excellent condition, like never read; however the covers show soiling---see photos. Great to own these 84 year old Programs of a Well known Opera. No smoke or bad odors.
