Description: Vintage 1940s Small Wood 200 Cigar Drying Case Rack Tray 20 Shelf 21" x 9.25" X 6.5”. Vintage Small Wood 200 Cigar Drying Case Rack Tray 20 Shelf 22" x 11" X 6”. Ships via UPS Ground. The weight on this is about 14lb. My estimate of 200 cigars is based on a guess of 10 cigars per shelf and 20 shelves. Each shelf is approximately 9 1/2” wide and I figure a cigar is about 3/4” (since the shelf height is also 3/4” which would make sense). 10 drawers divided by wood to make 20 but when it comes apart it’s 10 drawers The actual shelf depth is 5 3/4”. Some of the wood has scuffs and a chipped shelf fronts but has a great feel to it (and smell). Still very functional. Metal clasps work well. I didn’t try to clean it so it is dusty. You may find a cob web or 2. I vacuumed it out but I didn’t properly clean. Looks like it was kept in a shed or barn. Piece of veneer is loose on the back and will probably be broken off in shipping. I will try to secure the piece of veneer but it is thin and fragile. It can easily be glued back on. Some stains and writing over several panels. The top removes and the shelves all come out. Side handles built into the unit. The Royalist Cigars Company , which was out of PA, is my best guess as to the maker but I’m not sure. They used a paper label which would be long gone. I purchased this at an estate sale in Pennsylvania. This would give a time period of 1940s. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description Feel free to ask questions.
